A key operational challenge facing financial institutions is that tokenised assets are isolated across disparate blockchains, each maintaining exclusive functionality and liquidity profiles. To prevent institutions from building expensive, bespoke connections to every platform, Swift collaborated with Chainlink and over a dozen tier-1 global banking conglomerates to demonstrate a secure single point of enterprise access using existing messaging networks.

The framework utilized Chainlink as an enterprise abstraction layer to securely interface the legacy Swift network directly with the Ethereum Sepolia environment. To bridge execution across public and private state machines without siloing value, Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) served as the primary routing engine. Simulated transfers were successfully cleared across three core profiles: intra-ledger public wallet movements, cross-chain public blockchain transactions, and public-to-private perimeter network transfers.
