FGA may be the right choice for many small businesses in order to bring forward attractive financing options. FGA DOES NOT charge a fee when it comes to the SBA Programs, we bring forward the businesses that would be approved.

Business Acquisitions

  • Loans up to $5MM, nationwide footprint, industry agnostic
  • Minimum 10% equity injection required (can come from investors)
  • Must buyout 100% of the business
  • Seller has to fully exit (can stay as consultant for up to 1 year)
  • Loans are 10 year term and amortization; no prepayment penalties
    • Longer amortization if CRE is included (up to 25 years)
  • Priced at WSJP + 2.75% or better
  • 1.2 DSC required in most recent year
  • Direct or relevant industry experience required
  • Both asset and stock sale eligible
  • Working capital and closing fees also eligible
  • No goodwill restrictions
  • PG required from owners 20%+
  • Location dependent businesses need lease term to match SBA (10 years)

 

Partner Buyouts

  • Loans up to $5MM, nationwide footprint, industry agnostic
  • 100% financing allowed (needs to meet certain criteria)
  • Must end up with 100% of the business
  • Seller(s) need to fully exit (can stay as consultant for up to 1 year)
  • Loans are 10 year term and amortization; no prepayment penalties
    • Longer amortization if CRE is included (up to 25 years)
  • Priced at WSJP + 2.75% or better
  • 1.2 DSC required in most recent year
  • Direct or relevant industry experience required
  • Only stock sale eligible
  • Working capital and closing fees also eligible
  • No goodwill restrictions
  • PG required from owners 20%+
  • Location dependent businesses need lease term to match SBA (10 years)

 

Commercial Real Estate Purchase or Refinancing

  • Up to 90% LTV on owner user CRE (must occupy 51%)
  • Can accommodate difficult industries and single use properties (gas stations, car washes, hotels, restaurants, etc)
  • Can accommodate “story” loans, credit challenges, etc.
  • Can accommodate startups and other projection based loans
  • 25 year term and amortization
  • Pricing varies by products, deal quality, etc.
  • Up to $5MM for SBA 7a, up to $15MM for SBA 504 Loans
  • PG required from 20% owners

 

Business Debt Refinancing or Consolidation

  • Loans up to $5MM, nationwide footprint, industry agnostic
  • 100% financing allowed
  • Loans are 10 year term and amortization; no prepayment penalties
    • Longer amortization if CRE is included (up to 25 years)
  • Priced at WSJP + 2.75% or better
  • 1.2 DSC required in most recent year
  • Working capital and closing fees also eligible
  • No goodwill restrictions
  • PG required from owners 20%+
  • Location dependent businesses need lease term to match SBA (10 years)
  • Must improve payment by 10% with the refinance or refi unreasonable (balloon payment) terms
  • Debt being refinanced has to be current and in good standing
  • Cannot be used to pay off shareholders
