Business Development Executive
Position Overview
The Business Development Executive is responsible for prospecting for viable startups and growth companies to onboard to our program “Project Falcon” . They will be responsible for working with such companies in an advisory position to assist them in building their companies further.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prospecting for viable startups, growth companies and projects to participate in “Project Falcon”
- Reviewing and validating business plans and financial documents
- Assessing the business development opportunities for the companies
- Assist in maintaining communication with the companies
- Targeting prospects and assisting in C-Suite and Advisory Board appointments as requested
- Assist in performing preliminary company valuations
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-4 years of business development experience
- 2-4 years of blockchain and cryptocurrency experience/knowledge
- 2-4 years private equity experience
- Strong drive and initiative, keen attention to detail and strong willingness to learn
- Individual must be collaborative to effectively liaise with investment partners and colleagues across various functions and workstreams, as well as be able to work independently
- A forward thinking, creative individual with high ethical standards
- Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate across the firm and partner companies to improve business processes independently and effectively
- Superior verbal, written and analytical skills, with ability to interpret fund performance metrics and identify unusual trends
- The ability to take on a task and “run with it” to conclusion is a critical characteristic of this role
- Role requires individual to be nimble and flexible to balance multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Successful candidates will eventually build to becoming portfolio managers for our firm.
